An inversion in subordinate clause

This movie is a strong example of anti-climactic. The ending was a cliché. I won't give it away but I will say that it did not leave me feeling disturbed nor did it leave me with a sense of accomplishment.

I have been taught in a subordinate clause, an inversion can't occur; am I right?
But in "nor" clause of my example above is an inversion even though "nor" clause is the subordinate clause of main clause.
I'd like to know why.
Thank you in advance for your help.

The sentence that you quote is missing one or two commas in my opinion, but otherwise would, I believe, be accepted by almost all readers. I think that only the most zealous of sticklers would question the structure.
