An interesting escapade into Mount Dragon King part 2

"Why is this mountain called Dragon King Mountain? Is there a mythology about this place?", I asked my friend Lin.
"I don't know.I'm not a local here so I don't know where the name comes from. I think it's just a gimmick people here use to attract tourists. But it doesn't work well."
Hardly had his voice faded away when we came across an old shrine to the left. A plaque hang above the gate of the shrine, reading "Cave of Dragons".
My curiosity was piqued so I asked Lin to take me to have a look there.
The shrine was empty, decrepit and deserted. Various kinds of graffiti were doodled on the walls. The sight of the word "SADAKO" on the wall give me creeps because it was the name of a Japanese female ghost.
Deep inside the old shrine, we found a door leading into a seemingly endless hallway down into the ground. I had an attempt to descend down the hallway. I tried to step into it when Lin stopped me.

Hello, teechr.

I would like to confirm whether there should be a comma before "I".

Thanks.

Hey, tamguatlay. I think I can confirm your doubt. I have checked one of my English novel and seen manny examples. The comma should be dropped. You are right.
