An IELTS 13 essay needs commenting on

In these times, the advancement of information technology such as the internet enables us to have access to a lot of products, services, and information without needing to go anywhere. And some people have more resources than the others. Both factors have been playing a big role in making having too many choices possible.

I agree that of all people, there are people who believe that these days we have too many options. That is possible because the internet is getting more affordable from time to time and there have also been other innovations derived from it such as online stores, search engines, and so on. That factor alone already contributed to the possibility. Additionally, it’s natural that some people have more resources than the others and those who have more tend to have many choices to choose from. So, it’s clearly possible that they might think they have too many choices at some point in their life. However, I think individual physical and psychological condition play a bigger role as they may vary from one person to another.

For example, I had two rich friends when I was in college. Both of them could virtually buy anything they want but one of them was physically different so although he was more than able to buy motorcycles, he would not do it because he thought he would never be able to ride them given his physical condition and therefore he thought he did not have too many choices while the other rich friend was confused about which options to go with as he had so many options at that time.

So yes, there are people who think they have too many choices nowadays.
