An idiom required...

Hi

I was going through an idiom dictionary and an interesting idiom caught my eye--sadly, I've forgotten what it was. I do hope someone here will help me find it again. Emotion: smile

1) She keeps complaining about her car but __________________. (the said idiom will come in the blank)

After the blank is filled, the sentence implies that she should be thankful that she at least has a car and is better than those people who don't.

Another example:

He is upset that he got a second position in the race but...

Thanks for your time and effort,

Tom
