An idiom

Hello!
Can you think of an idiom the meaning of which would be something like: I'll rather die than surrender or I'll choose death over giving in. Is there an idiom in English which approximately covers this?

Thank you

I reckon there're a great deal of similar expressions

Here is two of them:

1. I will fight to the death

2. I will fight to the last drop of blood

This one is not very idiomatic in that althought it uses an idiom, that idiom can be used in many other contexts:

3. I wouldn't be seen/caught dead giving up

There's also "over my dead body."

If you want to forgive her, fine. But the only way that woman will ever enter my house is over my cold, dead body.
