00What I mean is this: In the phrase and question I wrote, I see them to possibly mean "may see 01u00fortune-tellers or fortune-seers02u00" and "Do you still visit 01u00fortune-tellers or fortune-mediums02u00?"Am I seeing it a wrong way? 02br

0I'm afraid you are seeing it the wrong way. The hyphen doesn't extend to the following noun.02br

00I can see what you mean though. Sometimes hyphens can lead to some ambiguitiy but I think this tends to happen more when we have hyphenated adjectives followed by nouns, than hyphenation of noun-noun. For example 'fun-loving owners and dogs' - do the dogs love fun as well
