An essay .. could you correct it pls

Should children be allowed to watch as much TV as they want, or should parents set the schedule??

Each electronic device has advantages and disadvantages. Nowadays, i guess there is no home without TV and sometimes it's more than one in each house. However, TV can influence to the children , parents should limit the time fort their children, and parents need to watch their children.
First of all, I remember when I was kid there was only a few channels on the TV. For example, one channel for news, second one it was about comedy series, and the last one was about cartoons. Recently, channels have been decreasing and there are now a hundred of channels on TV, so there are good channels and others are bad. TV can influence to the children in different ways. TV can change the way of thinking to the people especially children because they are young and don't know right and wrong.For instance, my cousin was watch program about cars drifting on the TV and he got excited to do like them ,so when the program finished he went out by his car trying to do like them and suddenly, he ran into a car which caused him broke in his legs and arms.

The second thing is that parents need to time their children for watching TV because in the midnight there are many bad channels work. Also, children love to watch TV , so some children stays up late and that will cause many bad habits. For example, one of my friends he was addicted to watch TV , therefore , he came to the school late, feels sleepy, and can't concentrate on the lecture.
The last thing is that parents need to watch their children while they are watching the TV to make sure they are watching good channels which could be useful for them. In addition, parents should watch cartoons with their children in order to share their feelings and thought. For example, I have heard about father who doesn't care about his kids as result the child Oblique to the wrong way.

In conclusion, TVs could be useful if the people use it in the correct way.However, it might be cause bad habits and can led to inappropriate phenomenon. I hope all parents advice watch their children and show them how to use it in the correct way.
