I believe that Japan should lower the voting age to eighteen years old for the following two reasons. Firstly, these days, it is said that voting rate in Japan is decreasing and fewer people are interested in politic. Lowering the voting age may give young people an opportunity of studying and thinking about politic in Japan, and reflecting a lot of opinions of young people will improve Japanese political situation. Secondly, it is important to know about political situation when people are young. The number of young people who do not feel social responsibility is increasing now, so it is important to learn political situation at school or home. For these reasons, the voting age should be lowered to eighteen years old.
