An error or not?

I am not sure what would be the proper grammar term for the construction of the following sentence ("of" is not used but expressed by a word order) :

The correlation density distribution map showed...

I have a feeling there might be an error there but I can't pinpoint it. It sounds kinda off but English is not my first language and I have a very vague knowledge of the grammar per se.
Is there an error? Or am I just seeing things.
