An email to my coworkers to let them know my situation in advance

I want to put a cover patch on one eye of mine, but I'm always worried my co-workers will stares at me weirdly. Therefore I will send this email to them to let them know in advance. Hi all, As a result of my amblyopia where a strong eye takes up most of the work of the lazy eye to see things, I have been had a lot of pain in that strong eye lately. It has been getting tired and ached all day due to the intensity and focus of the work, causing me a lot of pain and reducing my focus ability. The optometrist suggested me to patch that eye more often to give it some rest. Thus from now on you will find me with a patch on my right eye often.
