The original context is like this:
I've got a very small room, but my aunt will visit me with her five boys. How can I put up with this? So there's the problem of looking after the five________boys.
A. growing B. driving C. returning D. laughing
I thought "driving" bears the meaning "demanding, active, not easy to deal

Hi Christopher,

'Driving' does not work as an adjective here (though 'demanding' would)-- perhaps because it needs an object ('His wife drove him to drink; she is a very demanding woman')

No, the boys are only 12 and are still growing, and at that age they are very active, so they need a lot of looking after.

And yet, if 'growing' is the answer (and I agree with MrM that only 'growing' fits), what a very long visit must be intended.
