Hi everyone. An elegy is a poem where the writer mourns for someone's death. This kind of poem is written in a sad tune. Sometimes the writer describes the passing of life of a dead person. Probably Thomas Gray's elegy "Elegy written in a country churchyard is the most famous elegy where he describes the life of the poor and humble people buried in the country churchyard. Can anyone check this please whether it is fine?
