The speaker of the article expresses concerns about the increasing collective thinking to own a gun in order to save themselves in case of emergency. One of the exemplars of those who are trying to carry a concealed gun is a pastor as shown in the first two paragraphes. After experiencing some terrible incidents including arsons, she chose to have a gun while she preaches. Contrary to their goodwill intentions, however, a study result is rather discouraging; being armed was not effictive at all in coping with assaliants and it even instigated gun-holders to wield the weapon. The worst cases reported by a specialist reveal that homes keeping a gun are more susceptible to homicide. It seems that human is too susceptible to what they have.
