An apostrophe or not?

The background to my question is that I own a small yacht, a Seawych, and I belong to the Owners Association.

The Question is whether it is correct for the association to be called The Seawych Owners Association or should there be an apostrophe making it The Seawych Owners' Association. I have seen other similar associations where the apostrophe has been used but I have always regarded it as an association of owners not an association belonging to the owners. I have also seen other associations where an apostrophe has been used before the s such as the -------- Owner's Association. That is, I am certain, incorrect as there will be more than one owner involved.

Thanks in anticipation of sound advice. Vic

Grammatically, the name is sound with or without the apostrophe. The wise founder, considering how many times the name will be written, typed, printed and reproduced, will omit the mark. (I see no significant difference, by the way, between an association of owners and an association belonging to the owners.
