An analysis of a sentence

Hello everyone.I want to share a sentence with you for analysis.

Do you think that this sentence is good, correct, natural?

I don't see how arguing about it improves understandings although considering it increases awareness .”

Actually, I found lots of interesting, awkward things.

Such as, according to my informations;1-) What is “ how arguing about..” ?I would say “ how to argue about..”
2-) What is “although + considering” ?Maybe that’s true but gramatically “in spite of or despite + considering” is better
3-) What is “ about it improves understandings ” ? Is that possible to put a normal sentence after about ?

It’s so interesting

Thank you very much.

"understandings" is a little unnatural there. I will use "understanding" in my examples. The pattern "I don't see how ~" is used to question whether a statement is true.
