i want to have an alternative word or rather an impressive one for the word 'notes'Emotion: money.

Although not as impressive as 'bank note' in my opinion, you might consider using 'bill' (as in dollar bill).

In many languages, money has many alternative words. It is difficult to know where to start..

The most used in UK English - if we are looking for impressive words - are probably "finance" and "cash"

- I wanted the car but I couldn't come up with the finance

- If you want the car, you'll have to pay cash

The first of these can mean that you couldn't
