An adverb or an adjective ? (To feel relaxed )

Do we always use an adjective or an adverb after "to feel" ? or are there any mixed rules?Emotion: thinking

Usually. The word "feel" has more than one definition. If you use it in the sense of "to touch", then it doesn't need an adjective: "I felt the doorknob, to see if it was hot."

If you use it to describe your mental state, your feelings, then it requires an adjective: "I feel happy", "I felt betrayed", etc.
