Could native speaker tell me the story about -ed?

[an abridged version of "War and Peace"]------

(the prototype) to abridge "War and Peace" to be a version;

here, to abridge is causality verb---so, a version as a result of the action of 'abrdiging';

[a made table of wood]-----

(the prototype) to make wood to be a table;

here,to make is causality verb----so, a table as a result of the action of "making";

[the learned professors]----

(the prototype) the professors learned much knowledge;

here, to learn is anticausality verb, so, the professors as the receiver of the action of "learning"
