Is it okay to say, "What's the amount of fee associated with the first year of university?"

Thanks.

What's the amount of the fee associated with the first year of university? I would suggest, though, to make it more concise: How much is the fee associated with the first year of university? or: How much is tuition for the first year of university?

I would suggest, though, to make it more concise:

How much is the fee associated with the first year of university?

or:

How much is tuition for the first year of university?

Don't say 'amount of fee'.

'associated with' is awkward.

Say
eg What's the fee for the first year of university?
eg How much does the first year of university cost?
