Hi. Is it correct to write a phrase, "among Asian community"? I think I have a lot of cases where a plural noun is followed by the word "among," like "among the native people." I think the word "community" generally has two meanings. Roughly stated, I think they are these: one being a group of people and the other being a sense of being together.
If the phrase "among Asian community" is correct, is it correct to write "among an interested group" (with the word "group" meaning more than one person in association - I hope this made-up meaning makes sense)?

" I think the word "community" generally has two meanings.
-- The first meaning is countable; the second is uncountable.
'Among the Asian community' seems wrong; I suggest 'within'.
