Is it really wrong to say among all of them in the following sentence ? :

I received many answers to my question. but among all of them there were only two correct answers.

I wouldn't say it is wrong, but it sounds awkward. Why not just say this? eg I received many answers to my question , but among all of them there were only two correct ones answers ..

Why not just say this?

eg I received many answers to my question, but among all of them there were only two correct ones answers..

eg I received many answers to my question, but only two were correct..
