'amiss' as an adverb
LDCE labels this as BrE. Is it not used in the US?
1. something would not come/go amiss
2. take something amiss

Hi, I'd say it's part of Canadian English, but not something you hear a lot. It sounds a little bit formal and old-fashioned. I think more common than 'amiss' might be 'awry'.

I think more common than 'amiss' might be 'awry'. But really, by far the most common would be to use the word 'wrong'.
