American adjective upswept

I'd like to kick off the discussion by wishing Happy New year to all of you;-)
I hope you will have so much fun and peace and all your dreams may come true!
My question though is the following: is it possible that the adjective UPSWEPT belongs to American English?
I didn't find it on my Cambridge advanced learner's dictionary and so I thought it might be American, what do you think about it?
