American Accent

I am 19 years old and live in Asia.I can speak in English well but want to have American accent.Is it possible? I heard one cannot change his accent.

It is difficult to change an accent, but it can be done. Actors do it all the time, but they have voice training. The younger you are, the easier it is to make new speech sounds; ones that are not in your mother tongue.

If you have any Americans in your area, try to make a deal where you do a service for them (eg translation) and they help you with your accent.

This should not be difficult. Most American actors have neutral accents at least in their films. Listen and copy.
