Amenities/Facilities

Hi, can I use those words in this context? If not, can you come up with a better one?

To begin with, to satisfy the people’s needs the high-rise buildings are placed in proximity to urban amenities/facilities and green areas. Therefore, a wide range of restaurants, shops and transportation hubs is available within walking distance from the building.
