Ambulance? Could you check this?

I am against the adoption of ambulance use charge mainly for two reasons. First, the system would most likely be abused by some users. I’ve read in the newspaper that some people call an ambulance unnecessarily for minor injuries or illnesses. The situation would probably get even worse, because some users would claim their right to call an ambulance anytime they wanted by paying for its service. Second, such a system might lead to unnecessary deaths. If it were not for free, poor people who require immediate care might choose not to call 911. Similarly, if someone were in a situation where he had to call an ambulance for someone else right away, he might hesitate to do so. In conclusion, adopting ambulance use charge is not an ideal solution, precisely because what matters is not saving budgets but saving lives.
