Hi,

I need your help with the following sentence:

If you change a mailbox address, the new address is notified of the change.

The underlined portion of the sentence is not clear to me.
What does it actually mean? Or may mean?
An email message with the new email address explicitly specified in the message body will be sent to the new address immediately after the change?
