Am I not versus Aren´t I

Good morning. My question is: I know that Aren´t I is the tag question for this situation - I am your father, aren´t I ?
What about when you make a simple negative question ? Which one should I say or write :

Am I not doing it right ? or Aren't I doing it right ?

Thanks a lot in advance
