I totally disagree with Micawber on this one. I think you can win someone's attention, even by using polite words. If someone ignores you, you can use sentences like:

Even the machines need attention or like, What am I to you, just another girl?

Anyway, you can also say "Am I just a doll?" cause I think its kind of cute and a bit harsh at the same time.

If you ask "Am I a doll?" it doesn't sound cute. It sounds conceited, because we would understand the person to be asking if he or she was extremely cute. A native English speaker would not assume the person wanted to know why he/she was being ignored.
