I am wondering if there one word could be used for bot masculine and feminine please.
Could I say "We are pleased to announce that we will held a celebration for alumni and alumnae from 2010 until 2015 at the XYH hotel in NYC"?

You can use alumni as a general term for a mixed group. Alumnae is used if they are all female.

When I lived in England years ago,we spoke of 'graduates', and considered 'alumni' an American term. But I believe 'alumni' is now well on the way into British usage.
