although .. however ???

the following sentence is grammatically incorrect, as far as I know, 
"although I don't like it, but I still do it"

yet it seems okay to say, for I found it in a book (as such assumed to be correct)

"although I don't like it, however, I still do it"


is it so??

"Although I don't like it, I still do it."
"I don't like it. However, I still do it."

Not in those. 'Although' can appear only at the beginning of a clause, not at the end.
