Alternatives to "pick sb up (at some place)"

Hi,

Consider a sentence one can find in nearly any English text book:-)

Could you please pick me up at the airport? (1)

I wonder if there are other ways (in spoken English, at least) to express the same idea?

Could you please come (and) get me at the airport? (2)

Is (2) correct English? (2) must be even "more informal" than (1)?

Perhaps, you can add some other appropriate verbs to the list below:

  • pick up,
  • meet, (this one must be the least informal?)
  • come get,
  • ???

vlivef I wonder if there are other ways (in spoken English, at least) to express the same idea? You can use collect to convey the same message but this usage is not that common. vlivef Could you please come (and) get me at the airport?
