Alternative ways to say "makes people angry" and "angers people"

I am trying to learn different ways of saying the same thing.

(ex A) Doubling property taxes makes people angry. (my 1st original sentence)

(ex B) Doubling property taxes angers people. (my 2nd original sentence)

(1a) Doubling property taxes causes anger in people.

(1b) Doubling property taxes causes people's anger.

(1c) Doubling property taxes causes people anger.

(2a) Doubling property taxes causes anger in us.

(2b) Doubling property taxes causes our anger.

(2c) Doubling property taxes causes us anger.

I know that (ex A) and (ex B) are the easiest ways to say this idea. I have heard some people use "cause" as an alternative word in formal writing. If this verb is used, I am not sure which of the sentences are correct.

Most of my non-native English speaking friends think the sentences are all correct. What is your opinion? Please help me. Thank you very much.
