Alternative learning.

Question

I took from the language what I understood and used it to be understood and not misunderstood. To me this my way of learning. I call it alternative learning. I seemed to grasp the structure of the words within the sentence instead of the basic grammar of verbs and nouns. Is this possible? When I do not understand a word I replace it with a word I can understand. Does one changed word cause misunderstanding by me? pljames

It depends on whether you have chosen a valid synonym-- but if you do not understand the original word, how can you possibly choose its synonym?

Valid synonym? I try to choose a related word I can understand. Like valid=true=legal=right=correct. I try to find basic and simple words over ambiguious ones. pljames

I have a reading comphehension problem. I look at the sentence and if I think it,s correct as I understand it my way then to me this is a new alternative learning method for me. I took from the langauge what I could understand and created my own understanding. pljames
