Sirs,

We use lot of medicines, ointments, liquids, gels in our life . I want to know some information. please help.

product mode of use

oint' for local application

tablet for oral use

syrup for oral use

injection ?????

which word suit here for injection?

Hi, This is not an answer, but another question. Aren't there different types of injections? Some are intravenous injections (directly into blood stream) while others are muscular injections (local effect- mostly with muscles) right?

1. Ointment - for local application

2. Tablet/Capsule - for oral use

3. Syrup/Tonic - for oral use

4. Injection - for parenteral use.

The appropriate word is " Parenteral " which includes both IV/IM mode of drug administration.
