I want to know How to use an adverb in a negative sentence i.e

1.He has also brought a book. (This is a affirmative sentence "also" an adverb).

Now I have to convert it in negative

3.He has not also brought a book.

Which one(2 or 3) is correct?

Thanks.

Hello Mr M.M(Sir!)

I want to know that It is possible to put an adverb between helping verb followed by by "not" and then followed by main verb.

i.e

1.He has not given me a pen. 2.He has also not given me a pencil.

Can "has not" be seprated by an adverb like "has some adverb not"?

Please explain it a bit.

Thanks.
