I think people who speak AmE would use either "I have already taken those classes" or "I already took those classes" without making a distinction between them. But a speaker of BrE would only say "I have already taken those classes". OR "I already took those classes before (another past event/action)".

LaboriousBut a speaker of BrE would only say "I have already taken those classes". OR "I already took those classes before (another past event/action)".I agree with your first example, but I'd be far more likely to say "I had already taken those classes" before another past event.
AnonymousI don't see a big difference between I had and I have already taken those classes? But there is a difference between "I had already taken those classes" and "I have already taken those classes". The former is in Past Perfect, while the latter is in Present perfect".
Anonymouswhat do you mean that you would use it before
AnonymousThanks for your explanation. What about ' she has already eaten or she already ate'. Wouldn't these sentences be also appropriate in the case you provided? No.
