Suppose somebody asks me why I have deleted items from my facebook, is it correct if I answer: Already read, instead of saying:because they have been already read? Thanks.
Top answer
These are full sentences. They have already been read. I've already read them.

These are full sentences.
They have already been read.
I've already read them.
Given the penchant for abbreviation these days, fragments like "already read" are comprehensible.
