"already" problem

Hello teachers,

Sometimes I'm confused where I should put this word (already) in a sentence. Is there a strict or certain rule for it?

I'm already done with the dishes.
I'm done with the dishes already.

I have already talked with him.
I have talked with him already.

I already ate dinner.
I ate dinner already.

Thanks!

Hi and thank you CB.

Is it safe to say that placing "already" at the end of the sentence is not commonly used? As what I have observed, it is rarely used.

One more question CB if you don't mind. Check my sentences.

Have you taken the board exam already?
Have you told your mom about your grades already?

Would that be fine using "already" instead

I have no statistics about the position of already. Grammatically, your two new sentences are correct. I have no idea what a "board exam" is, though.
