Already got a steady?

I heard a line in a song consisting of this utterance, and that's how it goes:

"...Already in the red; already got a steady, infrared meant for my head" (Eminem / We as Americans).

I know you may say there are songs containing informal language or unusual sentences.

However, what's the meaning of this utterance according to the context I've provided?

Thank you. How did you figure it out from the sentence I gave? Can you explain it again, please?

Hi,

Are you asking bout the word 'steady'?

eg Tom has a steady girl-friend, whose name is Mary.

This means that Tom and Mary have a romantic relationship that is not merely temporary. They see each other often, and do lots of activities
