Alphabet pronunciation

Does the letter Z have different pronounced differently in Australia, US and UK? If so, then what are the pronunciations? (phonetic)

Or if no, then what is the origin of the different pronunciations?

Thanks,
Ana

Hi Ana, Yes they are pronounced differently. To try to give you phonemic script is difficult as they are different sub sets. Why don't you google the sounds form the different countries?

American: Z = zee

I believe that in the UK and in Australia Z = zed, but wait for confirmation of this.
