Hi,
I wanted to know, when talking about a situation, should I use "allow" or "allow of" and why?
Example: "I won't allow it" or "I won't allow of it"
g. "I won't allow it".

what about the why? In essence Im trying to get to the gist of when should I use one instead of the other.
The rules allow no exceptions or allow of no exceptions?
Can I say you are not allowed of talking or you are not allowed to talk?
