Allow + ing? (mandatory)

Hi!

Is the following sentence grammatical or "allow" always requires "ing"?

Furthermore, it allows to remove up to 4 l of fat without any danger to health.

Thanks!

It's not correct. "allows removing" would not be right either. You can say "allows us/one/them/doctors/etc.

ayan86allows ___ to remove
This would be OK if you had named the person who is allowed to remove. Impersonal 'you' could go there: It allows you to remove up to ....

Even so, you can do even better than that by using "removal": it allows the removal of up to .... I think that sounds better than impersonal 'you'.
