Essay & Composition Writing

"Allo?" => An article about mobile phones...

The subject is:

"Write an article to your school magazine to state the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones."

My writing (hope you like it!) :

"ALLO?"
With the fast development of technology and all the changes that it had introduced into our habits, people have different opinions about how to deal with those new technologies.
For instance, even if the term "Allo?" is nowadays a part of our lives, we have to admit that mobile phones, in addition to having many advantages, have also some disadvantages, and that's why we have to be careful when using them.
So what are the benefits of mobiles phones? And what are the disadvantages of using them too frequently? And how can we use them wisely?

Mobile phones have surely made our lives easier than before! No need to long letters which can be lost on way to recipient, we can now write an SMS in two minutes and send it at the moment. No need to bring a heavy camera to take pictures, we have now an integrated camera in our phones. No need to travel to see our beloved family or our dear friends, we can now talk with them via mobiles thanks to the video calls.
This is surely a good way to shorten distances and bound people together.
Furthermore, mobile phones have also a great importance in the growth of our new and fast economy: without them, businesses wouldn't be done as easy as now and telecom companies which make huge benefits would surely not exist!

But in another hand, we can not deny that mobile phones have many disadvantages.
For example, using them too much can be harmful to one's health. Scientists had proved that electronic waves have a bad influence on the ears and head.
Moreover, using them can develop an "electronic dependence", which we can notice on the youth day after day, decreasing by that the face-to-face communication between members of the same family.
We also heard about many accidents on the roads that had happen due to inattention because of speaking on mobile phones.

To summarise, mobiles phones, such as many other new technologies, have many advantages, and disadvantages as well.
The deal with them and use them wisely, people should be careful to the frequency of using them, and teach their children about their dangers and sensitize others to how live with those machines without letting them control them.

A good job guy. But I think this clause below have a little mistake
"No need to long letters which can be lost on way to recipient..." ( I think, it must be: " No need long letters... (Not use TO)).
Glad to meet you.

Thank's for your comment and correction!
I just searched on Internet about the use of "no need" and I found that there was always a verb after it, so I think that I should use "no need to write long letters..."
Anyway, I'm glad that you liked my writing.
Looking forward to writing another one so that I can have your opinion about it!
