All that it reminds me up is the betrayal

"All that it reminds me up is the betrayal"

Hi, I was wondering why the "up" is needed in the sentence. Is there a difference between, "remind someone" and "remind someone up"?

Thank you

Hi, The way this verb works is someone/something reminds someone of someone/something. eg You remind me of my brother. eg It reminds me of the betrayal.

  • Hi, The way this verb works is someone/something reminds someone of someone/something.
  • eg You remind me of my brother.
  • eg It reminds me of the betrayal.
  • I think what you heard was probably 'of' and not 'up'.
