What is the meaning of "all that"?
"all" is plural form but " that" is singular. Why not " all these" or "all those" ? Is " all that " a set phrase.
eg. I admit that after all that fury of excitement, there 's bound to be some relaxation of tension.
Help pls.

'All' is not plural, it's a quantifier: 'all snow is white'; 'all penguins are black'. All (of) that jazz annoys me. All (of) those jazz musicians annoy me.
