Are they both correct? If yes, what's the difference between the singular and the plural?

-As in previous academic terms, all course registration under BUSIS will be at real-time mode and on a first-come first-served basis subject to fulfillment of course enrolment requirements and spaces, except courses with ‘add’ or ‘drop’ consent indicated by the course offering department.

um...I meant also the rest of the sentences. Are they both correct? For example, does 'at real time mode' make sense? We put something on a certain mode, but I don't know whether at is possible.
