I am quite sure that the following sentence is ambiguous.
All the guests did not drink wine.
And one of the two possible meanings is stated as follows;
All the guests drank no wine.
Is my thinking right?

You have the right idea, but I think it is better expressed as "No guest drank any wine." There is something incongruous about "all" with "no".
