All my sons

Hi, I have an assignment about the book "All my sons" and I need some help about two questions I'm not sure about.

The last part of the assignment are quotes from the the book and we need to find the relevance or the importance of the quoted words and what are the subjects of the quotations?

1. It's wrong to pity a man like that. Father or no father, there's only one way to look at him. He knowingly shipped out parts that would crash an airplane. (p.39, l.14)

2. I was dying every day and you were killing my boys and you did it for me?...................no animal kills his own… (p.80, l.18-25)

Thanks.

Thank you for the quick answer.
The problem is I'm "stuck" on these questions, my native language isn't English and reading a whole book and understanding it is bit complicated for me.
I'll be glad if you'll be able to refer me to the right forum, if you can.

Sincerly yours,

James.
