AnonymousHi. Please help. Which is correct?In an equative sentence (X = Y) X is the subject, and X must agree with the verb. If X is singular, the verb is singular; if X is plural, the verb is plural. You can ignore Y. If you don't like how it sounds, reverse it and express it as Y = X.
